If you haven't watched this yet, take a look. It's a great introduction into Monsanto and the genetically modified foods that show up in our stores and on our dinner tables. Some of this movie (like the scientific parts!) is a little dry, but it will give you a very good idea of how biotechnology has created unnatural combinations in foods. Where your food comes from matters! Grab a seat and a cup of tea before you start this one up!
Any feedback? Thoughts? Do you even have time to watch it??? =)

I love this film. I credit it with changing the way I think about food. I knew organics were best prior to watching it; but upon watching it I changed everything overnight and we became 99.9999% organic - local followed and then TF followed that. We screened it as a farmers market fundraiser last year and did very well.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny,
ReplyDeleteMy cousin-in-law sent it to me. I'm very glad I watched it. I'm also glad it's available to anyone who wants to watch it. What is sad is that we as general public are not aware of where are food comes from. This information is not disclosed at the point of purchase, unless you buy organic. But, it also makes me very happy to know that I am not a mental case for buying organic everything as much as possible.
